On February 11, 1990, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, James "Buster" Douglas, a 42-to-1 underdog, defeated the undefeated Mike Tyson by 10th-round knockout to become the undisputed heavyweight champion. Tyson had dominated the fight until the eighth round, when Douglas was knocked down but managed to recover and secure the victory. This unexpected outcome is widely regarded as one of the greatest upsets in boxing history.
