On November 23, 2006, during the first Test of the Ashes series at Brisbane's Gabba, England's Steve Harmison bowled the opening delivery so wide that it reached second slip, where captain Andrew Flintoff caught it. This wide delivery set the tone for a challenging series for England, who were defeated by Australia.
