THE STORY
In November 2020, during the Transat Jacques Vabre, Sodebo Ultim 3, skippered by Thomas Coville, collided with an unidentified floating object (UFO) off the coast of Morocco. This impact damaged the starboard foil, leading to a technical stop in Madeira for repairs. Despite the setback, Coville and co-skipper Thomas Rouxel continued the race, ultimately finishing in second place after approximately 18.5 days at sea.
