THE STORY
In the 1989 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka Circuit, Ayrton Senna collided with teammate Alain Prost while attempting to overtake him on lap 46. Prost retired from the race, while Senna rejoined after a pit stop and won, but was disqualified for cutting the chicane during the incident. This disqualification handed the championship to Prost.
