THE STORY
In June 2011, Croatian discus thrower Sandra Perković tested positive for methylhexanamine, a banned stimulant, during Diamond League meetings in Rome and Shanghai. She claimed unintentional ingestion through a supplement and did not request a B-sample analysis. The Croatian Athletics Federation imposed a six-month suspension, which was later confirmed by the IAAF. Consequently, Perković missed the 2011 World Championships in Daegu.
