In the 2019 Rolex Fastnet Race, Rambler 88, skippered by George David, set a new monohull record to the Fastnet Rock, passing it in 1 day, 2 hours, 47 minutes, 47 seconds, 88 minutes faster than their previous record. The team finished first in monohull line honours but did not break the overall race record, finishing 1 hour and 16 minutes behind the 2011 monohull race record. This performance highlighted the yacht's speed and the crew's skill in challenging conditions.
