THE STORY

In Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, with the Texas Rangers leading 7–5 in the bottom of the ninth and two outs, David Freese hit a two-run triple off Neftalí Feliz. Right fielder Nelson Cruz missed the catch, allowing the tying runs to score and sending the game to extra innings. The Cardinals won 10–9 in 11 innings, forcing and eventually winning Game 7 to claim the title.
