THE STORY
During the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, McLaren attempted a double-stack pit stop for drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. The stop was delayed due to a miscommunication, causing Hamilton to wait for Button's service to complete. This delay resulted in Hamilton losing track position and ultimately finishing the race in seventh place.
