THE STORY

On January 14, 2007, during the AFC Divisional Playoff, Chargers safety Marlon McCree intercepted Tom Brady's 4th-and-5 pass with a 21–13 lead and 6:25 remaining. While returning, McCree was stripped by Patriots receiver Troy Brown, and the fumble was recovered by Reche Caldwell. The Patriots scored a touchdown and two-point conversion to tie the game at 21, eventually winning 24–21 and eliminating the Chargers from the playoffs.
