On November 25, 1993, during a snowstorm at Texas Stadium, Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Leon Lett blocked a 41-yard field goal attempt by Miami Dolphins kicker Pete Stoyanovich. Attempting to recover the loose ball, Lett slipped and touched it, allowing the Dolphins to recover on the one-yard line. With three seconds remaining, Stoyanovich successfully kicked a 19-yard field goal, leading Miami to a 16-14 victory.
