THE STORY

In Super Bowl XXVII on January 31, 1993, Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Leon Lett recovered a fumble and began celebrating prematurely near the goal line. Buffalo Bills wide receiver Don Beebe chased him down and knocked the ball out of Lett's hands just before he crossed the goal line, resulting in a touchback. The Cowboys won the game 52–17.
