THE STORY
In April 2006, Justin Gatlin tested positive for testosterone at the Kansas Relays, resulting in an eight-year suspension in August. This was his second doping offense, following a 2001 amphetamine violation. Gatlin forfeited his 100-meter world record and was stripped of his 2004 Olympic 4x100-meter relay gold medal. After cooperating with authorities, his suspension was reduced to four years, and he returned to competition in 2010.
