THE STORY
On September 1, 1990, at Fenway Park, Boston Red Sox outfielder Mike Greenwell hit an inside-the-park grand slam against New York Yankees pitcher Greg Cadaret in the fifth inning. The ball eluded right fielder Jesse Barfield, who fell while attempting to field it, allowing all four runners to score. The Red Sox won the game 15-1.
