THE STORY

In November 2020, during the Vendée Globe solo sailing race, Kevin Escoffier's boat, PRB, broke in half in the Southern Ocean, forcing him to abandon ship. Fellow competitor Jean Le Cam diverted his course to rescue Escoffier, successfully bringing him aboard after a challenging operation.
