THE STORY
In December 2009, Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton engaged in a heated argument over a card game debt. The dispute escalated when Arenas brought unloaded firearms into the locker room, leading Crittenton to draw his own loaded gun. The confrontation caused teammates to flee, and both players were suspended for the remainder of the 2009–10 NBA season. Arenas later pleaded guilty to felony gun possession, resulting in probation and community service.
