THE STORY

On June 5, 2006, during Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Carolina Hurricanes at the RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, Oilers goaltender Dwayne Roloson suffered a severe right knee injury after a collision with Hurricanes forward Andrew Ladd.
