THE STORY
In Game 6 of the 2003 National League Championship Series on October 14, the Chicago Cubs led the Florida Marlins 3-0 in the top of the eighth inning at Wrigley Field. With two outs and a runner on first, Marlins batter Miguel Cabrera hit a ground ball to shortstop Alex Gonzalez, who misplayed it, allowing Cabrera to reach first base. The Marlins capitalized, scoring eight runs in the inning and winning the game 8-3, forcing a decisive Game 7.
