In 2020, the NHL sanctioned the Arizona Coyotes for violating the league's Combine Testing Policy by conducting physical tests on 2020 draft-eligible players prior to the NHL Scouting Combine. As a result, the Coyotes forfeited their second-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft and their first-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
