THE STORY
In Game 6 of the 1999 Stanley Cup Final, Brett Hull of the Dallas Stars scored the series-clinching goal in triple overtime against the Buffalo Sabres. Hull's left skate was in the crease when he scored, leading to disputes over the goal's legality. The NHL ruled the goal valid, awarding the Cup to Dallas.
