THE STORY

On June 19, 1999, during Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Dallas Stars and the Buffalo Sabres, Brett Hull scored the decisive goal in triple overtime. Hull's left skate was in the crease when he scored, leading to disputes over the goal's legality. The Stars won the game 2-1, clinching their first Stanley Cup.
