In March 2007, during the Cricket World Cup in St. Lucia, England's vice-captain Andrew Flintoff engaged in a late-night drinking session following a defeat to New Zealand. In the early hours, he attempted to board a pedalo but fell into the Caribbean Sea and required assistance to return to shore.
